Just as The Balvenie ages its whisky to perfection, our bespoke shoes are crafted by heart and character. This creation is an invitation to experience The Balvenie culture and it's made for those who embrace the rare and the remarkable.
The Designer
Stefanie, founder of Atelier Stefani, designed the Balvenie boots for men and women. Drawing inspiration from the brand’s history and culture, this exclusive capsule collection is limited to just 75 pairs per style worldwide.
The collaborative process between The Balvenie and us began with multiple design sketches. This extraordinary design was chosen as the women’s style by brand ambassadors worldwide.
Inside the Craft
Lasting a shoe is an art. Pulling the leather over the edge of the last without creasing requires attention to detail at every step.
One of the final steps involved painting the sole and upper leather, giving each shoe its own distinctive patina and character.
Vision to Reality
It took 135 steps and 60 hours of craftsmanship to get from design concept to final creation.
The upper of the women’s boot is made of two contrasting leathers - the softest burgundy coloured bison leather and a spicy red nubuck.
A hidden leather engraving of a barley stalk on the inner shoe represents the whisky’s origin, connecting craftsmanship with The Balvenie distillery’s essence.
Atelier Stefani's signature lacing, placed on the back of the boot, adds a distinctive and elegant touch, elevating the design with sophistication.
A flash of fish leather symbolizes The Balvenie’s adventurous spirit, reflecting the brand’s love for nature and the journey from distillery to bottle.
