Getting a pair of shoes made that is inspired by the customer's unique character and lifestyle is a highly personal experience.
From our very first meeting with Danny, we immersed ourselves in understanding his essence, laying the foundation for the unique DNA of his bespoke creations.
Danny's dedicated designer and artisan is Stefanie, the founder of Atelier Stefani. They connected through their mutual love for art and fashion and morphed both their visions to create this statement piece.
We developed the pattern of Danny’s made-to-measure boots and cut the parts from his chosen leather - the softest, sustainably tanned Japanese calf skin.
Once the parts were stitched to form the uppers, we began shaping them over Danny's custom shoe lasts (molds), carefully pulling the leather into its final form with attention to detail.
It took 123 steps and 51 hours of craftsmanship to get from design concept to final creation.
